Through high-quality educational programming, technical training, dignified school infrastructure, and higher education scholarships, we pave the way for new generations to lead the resilient growth of their own communities.
In partnership with the Ministry of Education, we collaborate with 25 public schools in Miches to support their ongoing infrastructure, technical, and programmatic needs. We ensure vital resources reach our municipality and actively support implementation to guarantee optimal teaching and learning environments.

To build local expertise, we partner with the country’s premier academic institutions, including Universidad ISA and ITESMARENA, for students in Miches to pursue a professional path in any one of these areas. To date more than 45 scholarships have been awarded to students specializing in agricultural engineering, food technology, natural sciences, environmental management, or related fields. This creates a pipeline of local talent and professionals that will lead the path toward innovative regional development. To achieve this, we run the following programs:
Scholarship Program: Covers tuition, psychological services and family engagement during the student’s transition period.
Internship Program: Grants scholarship recipients with tailored placements, internally or with local allies, that align with their academic and professional interests. It offers relevant experience that helps them establish strong careers in their hometowns.
Professional and Cultural Exchange: Provides scholarship recipients knowledge and practical experience that complements their university studies. It helps them grow their professional network and better understand how leading national enterprises operate sustainably and effectively.
We sit on the board of EDUCA to lobby for the improvement of the quality of education through public policy building at the national level, and ensure these improvements reach the Miches school district. EDUCA also supports the national coordination of key education initiatives; Fundación Tropicalia partners with EDUCA to bring these opportunities directly to Miches.
